Currently director of Eye Trust Clinic and Head of Manipal Hospital Ghaziabad. Having a strong passion for charity as well as teaching. He is also Head and chief surgeon at Lions Eye Hospital Ghaziabad , a charitable institute where he has started a fellowship program and has trained many budding ophthalmologist in the fine art of Phacoemulsification as well as SICS. Successfully performed more than 1 lakh twenty thousand cataract surgeries.He has performed many live surgeries as well as presented papers at national and international conferences.
Dr Shishir Narain Completed his ophthalmic training in the UK and worked as a registrar before returning to India. He has been working as a Consultant in Uveitis and Ocular Inflammation in Eye Trust clinic since 2006. He is also a member of the Retinal Services with the special interest in Medical Retina, Fluorescein Angiography, Indocyanine Green Angiography, and Digital Imaging.
